Turn your big ideas into tech solutions for civic problems during two action-packed days at the TeenTechSF Civic Hackathon @ MakeSchool. First-time hackers welcome! This year's theme is "Teen Problems, Tech Solutions." TeenTechSF will be partnering with the SF Youth Commission to focus specifically on developing tech projects to solve key problems facing youth today, such as sustainability, homelessness, civic engagement, and gun violence.
Beginner friendly, we'll have experienced mentors from TeenTechSF and Make School on hand to help turn your tech dreams into reality, plus workshops on coding, website & app development, pitch development, and prototyping. The best tech projects will get the chance to participate in the World Pitch at the TeenTechSF Global Youth Summit in December against other teams as far away as Jordan and China!
Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided for free on both days.
