2022 San Francisco High School Cool Careers Challenge Registration



Designed by the San Francisco Department of Public Health working with the Department of Homeland Security, Cool Careers is presented by the San Francisco Environmental Health Branch and Opportunities For ALL. The 2022 Cool Careers Challenge is open to all San Francisco high school students.

**Compete in the Virtual Scavenger Hunt About Honey with your team of 3 to 4 S.F. high school students, in order to have a chance to win big from a cash prize pool of $2,000. Participants may compete only on one team. Schools may have an unlimited number of teams.

2022 COMPETITION DATES: - Wednesday, April 13, 4:30-5:15 pm Science Talk with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Lab about how they figure out if imported honey is real or fake (and to learn information about the virtual scavenger hunt competition to win cash prizes)

- The competition is open from April 14-19 Complete online scavenger hunt and submit your team's entry by Tuesday, April 19, 5 pm deadline. - Sunday, April 24, 11 am to 4 pm Visit our booth at the Bay Area Science Festival on the Promenade Level at Oracle Park (24 Willie Mays Plaza) to taste-test and see if you can tell the difference between real honey vs. fake honey. We will also have swag to give away. Feel free to forward this information to any of your San Francisco high school friends.
