This year, we're bringing the ACLU Advocacy Institute to the west coast for the first time ever – with programs tailor-made for California high school students with an interest in civil liberties issues and social justice advocacy.
ACLU CALIFORNIA ADVOCACY INSTITUTE
At the University of California Los Angeles
Friday, October 11 to Monday, October 14
This four-day program, held on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, will bring student activism to the next level. Students will learn from ACLU experts and their student peers about the most important social justice and civil liberties issues facing California today. Through workshops and networking meetups, they will develop the skills for grassroots organizing and movement building in their communities.
