Applications for Coro’s District Youth Leadership Academy program are now available!
The District Youth Leadership Academy trains District 7 youth to initiate positive change in their communities through Coro leadership training. Youth will grow their leadership skills and networks, gain an understanding of community issues, and get paid $500 for program completion!
Program Details
Meets weekly (in-person) from February - April 2024.
Session 1: Saturday, March 9 (10 AM - 4 PM)
Session 2: Saturday, March 16 (10 AM - 4 PM)
Session 3: Saturday, March 23 (10 AM - 4 PM)
Session 4: Saturday, March 30 (10 AM - 4 PM)
Session 5: Saturday, April 6 (10 AM - 4PM)
Session 6: Saturday, April 20 (10 AM - 4 PM)
Session 7: Saturday, April 24 - Graduation (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
Youth receive $500 upon graduation from the program!

Eligibility Criteria
Current 9th - 12th graders who live and/or attend school in District 7.
Interested in making a positive difference in the community.
Able to attend all sessions.
Any amount of leadership experience is welcome.
