CORO Leadership Training

The Center

The District Youth Leadership Academy trains San Francisco's District 1 & 7 youth to initiate positive change in their communities through Coro leadership training. Youth will grow their leadership skills and networks, gain an understanding of community issues, and get paid $500 for program completion!

Program Details

  • Meets weekly (in-person and virtually) from February - May 2022.

  • Sessions are generally afterschool from 4:00pm-6:30pm, with one full day session on Saturday, Feb. 26th.

  • Youth receive $500 upon graduation from the program!

Please submit applications here. Applications are due by Wednesday, 5pm, January 12, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Current 9th - 12th graders who live and/or attend school in San Francisco's District 1 or 7.

  • Interested in making a positive difference in the community.

  • Able to attend all sessions.

  • Any amount of leadership experience is welcome.
