A friendly reminder that our applications for Coro’s District Youth Leadership Academy program are due soon - 2/5/2023. We hope that you can encourage 2-3 students to apply before then, and if an extension is needed, we’re happy to make accommodations.
The District Youth Leadership Academy trains District 7 youth to initiate positive change in their communities through Coro leadership training. Youth will grow their leadership skills and networks, gain an understanding of community issues, and get paid $500 for program completion!
Program Details
Meets weekly (in-person and virtually) from March - May 2023.
Sessions are generally on Saturdays from 10 AM - 4 PM, with graduation on a Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.
Youth receive $500 upon graduation from the program!
Applications are due by Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at 11:59 PM PST.
Eligibility Criteria
Current 9th - 12th graders who live and/or attend school in District 7.
Interested in making a positive difference in the community.
Able to attend all sessions.
Any amount of leadership experience is welcome.
No minimum GPA required.
