District 7 Youth Council (D7YC)
The D7YC trains participants in leadership, facilitation, policy research, event planning, and community organizing. Council Members gain a better understanding of how city government operates, become more conversant with neighborhood issues affecting District 7, and give back to their community through a Service Learning Project.
Our program started on October 18th, but we still have 2 slots open! Meetings are held every Monday from 5pm-7pm (all meetings are currently virtual). Eligibility:
Currently enrolled in high school
Live or attend school in SF’s District 7 (Lick-Wilmerding is in District 7, so ALL your students are eligible to join!)
