Art, Music, & Community: ArtSpan's Jerry Day Afterparty ArtWalk & Pub Crawl
This Saturday, August 13, we invite you to experience the unbridled creativity of San Francisco’s Excelsior neighborhood with unique visual installations and live music—from 7-10pm at select venues—during the Jerry Day afterparty.
Since 2018, ArtSpan has activated the Excelsior's commercial corridor with one-of-a-kind art installations at small-businesses to engage and celebrate the community as we prepare to move to our new headquarters at 45 Onondaga Avenue.
This year, we are excited to be in partnership with Excelsior Action Group and Jerry Day to amplify the work of local artists during the Excelsior's neighborhood-wide celebration honoring Jerry Garcia—Grateful Dead guitarist and former Excelsior resident. On August 13, walk through the neighborhood’s commercial corridor to discover unique art installations at restaurants, bars, and other small businesses participating in this synergistic neighborhood-wide celebration cross-pollinating diverse disciplines spanning the visual and audible.
