Greetings from Girls In Tech (GIT). GIT is a club that focuses on uniting female identifying students with an interest in STEM to discover and collaborate in the sector of technology and develop a voice within the tech industry. We have been preparing for our annual Girls in Tech Hack, a code and no-code hackathon designed for female-identifying students - trans and non binary included - from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. The hackathon consists of workshops, mentorships, website/ app design competitions and team building activities in which students can continue to develop their collaborative and technological skills. It will be happening on May 14th and 15th. In order for this event to reach its full potential as a resource, outreach is an important component. We would be very grateful if you could reference us to any contacts in middle and high schools across the Bay Area that may help spread the word about our Girls in Tech Hack event. Thank you for your time,
