I’m Damian Zamora, Field Organizer for the non-profit HeadCount.org. We are a non-partisan organization that has registered over 600,000 people to vote since 2004. During the COVID-19 crisis, we are offering a free nationwide service to schools who would like to help their students to register to vote.
Since many students cannot have the graduation experience they hoped for, we can at least give them an easy opportunity to register to vote, an important rite of passage for anyone turning 18 before November.
We provide digital tools, Zoom training (if needed), and messaging guidance to help teachers, faculty or even students themselves run digital voter registration drives. There is no cost for this service, and it is completely non-partisan.
