DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: APRIL 8, 2022
The High School Elections Ambassador Program is an opportunity for high school students to partner with county elections officials to promote civic education across campus, engage fellow classmates in the electoral process, and foster a school environment that cultivates active citizenship.
Every year, 2-4 students from each San Francisco school will be selected to serve as Ambassadors, joining thousands of young people across participating California schools to take part in Voter Education Weeks, April 18 – 29, 2022. You will imagine, design, and conduct outreach events at your own school to encourage students to pre-register to vote and recruit volunteers for the High School Poll Worker Program. The Department will provide you with all the resources and support along the way!
Requirements:
Must be enrolled in a San Francisco High School
Obtain permission from parent/guardian
Attend a 2-hour training and receive your materials
Submit a completed application online by April 8, 2022
