Join a Youth-Led Team to Promote Leadership, Advocacy, and Mentorship Among Middle Schoolers!

This fall, leadership mentors will mentor middle school students, develop curriculum on SF relevant topics and present this curriculum. They are expected to design a curriculum and presentations on issues that matter to them. For example, last summer leadership mentors designed and presented a curriculum on climate change, AAPI and black solidarity, education equity, child’s rights, and LGBTQ+ rights. Our impact sheet can be found here. Leadership mentors are a crucial part of our team and we are looking for high schoolers who are passionate about making an impact, love working with youth, value teamwork, and are comfortable learning about public speaking. Leadership mentors would be working with 2-3 other high schoolers in our SFILY team. The time commitment would be 2-3 hours per week for around 8 weeks, starting in late September. Please apply ASAP at tinyurl.com/sfilymentor or pass this opportunity along to those who you think would be interested. sfily.org
