MedReach will be hosting a healthcare seminar scheduled for October 23rd from 12PM-2PM held over Zoom. This is a free event. The structure of the event can be broken down into four main sections: a healthcare careers presentation, a medical terminology jeopardy game, a mock case study role-playing activity, and a Q&A session where high school students can ask MedReach members about being pre-med/pre-health and the college application process.
Students who are interested in attending our seminar may fill out our student interest form which will be provided below. The form only asks for the student's name, email, and career interests. A zoom link will be provided to students approximately 2-3 days prior to the seminar they sign up for. Our organization additionally hosts networking events with healthcare professionals currently working in the medical field and offers a mentor/mentee program connecting these students with undergraduate students at UCLA.
