Golden Thread, the first American theatre company devoted to plays from or about the Middle East, and the MENA steering committee invite you to a special event just for folks 14-24 years old. Participate in a circle council, share stories and become part of a new community where YOUR ideas matter. Participants will attend the story circle, see the ReOrient Festival of Short Plays on 11/7, and have the opportunity to observe sessions at the Middle East North African Convening on 11/9 & 10.
No previous knowledge necessary. Limit 12 participants. Dinner and show ticket is included on 11/7.
Who: Anyone who identifies between the ages of 14-24 years old. (bring your friends!)
When:
Nov 7th, 5:30-7:30: Youth Council story circle including dinner and show. Stay for the ReOrient festival of short plays at 8pm for FREE!
11/9, 10am-6pm; 11/10, 10am-2pm: National Convening of MENA Theatre Artists
