Asian Health Services Youth Program (AHSYP) is looking for 15 people (ages 14-22) to fill the positions of Health & Wellness Interns in our Peer Leaders Internship. Peer Leaders has been a significant program within Asian Health Services the last few decades, with some of its alumni serving at the agency as medical providers and other staff. The program has evolved from a series of reproductive health workshops into a leadership development space for those interested in medicine and public health. This upcoming cohort will be conducted online, offering workshops to several topics in healthcare, modules for independent learning, networking and mentorship opportunities from healthcare professionals, and the chance to conduct one's own research project. Completion of the 4-month weekly internship comes with a certificate, $200 gift card, and opportunity for volunteer service hours and letters of recommendations.
