One of our high school students has spearheaded a global essay contest called Pivotal Essay Contest for high school students to engage with the world’s most pressing problems. In partnership with Oxford University's Global Priorities Institute, they are offering $25,000 for the best essays on global issues and have already received over 10,000 registrations from students worldwide. They are seeking to accept more entries from high school students by October 10 and I thought I would share the opportunity with our partner independent schools throughout California.
