Spring is in the air! Celebrate Arbor Day with San Francisco Public Works! We have 2 awesome events planned for Saturday, March 11.

Tree Planting (aka D6 Neighborhood Beautification Day)
Join San Francisco Public Works in planting 115+ trees on Saturday, March 11 from 8:30 AM – 12 PM.
Volunteers will meet at Bessie Carmichael Elementary School yard (in SOMA) and plant street trees in District 6. If you are interested, please register to plant trees here. Registration is required.
Didn’t register? You brought friends along? Walk-in volunteers can register at the registration tables at 8:30 AM (Harrison St and Sherman St).
Volunteers will be able to enjoy the Arbor Day Fair before and after the tree planting.

Arbor Day Fair
Our annual Arbor Day Fair is back after 3 years!
Bring your friends and family for a few hours of fun, hands-on activities, and info booths on urban environmental education. Some vendors and activities include: info booths, build your own planter box, bucket truck rides, tree nursery tour
The fair will be held at the Bessie Carmichael Elementary School yard on Saturday, March 11 from 9 AM – 1 PM.
Admission is free; this is a family-friendly event. Everyone is invited!
