We are eager to introduce you to our nonprofit organization, QuaranTunes, which is devoted to inspiring young minds through the energy of music and creative arts. Our mission is to enrich the lives of children and adolescents by offering good-quality music and creative arts programs through online video chat (Zoom).
We are reaching out to countless schools in California to seek support and collaboration in our efforts to provide students with the opportunity to explore their creative potential. Though we don't have a fee for lessons, we encourage donations, 100% of that going to the Save The Music Foundation. This foundation aims to fund music programs in public schools throughout the US.
What We Offer:
Music Education: We offer comprehensive music lessons, including instruments like piano, guitar, violin, and voice. Our teachers are well-experienced high schoolers and college students.
Creative Arts: Besides music, we offer a range of creative arts classes. This is a new component of our organization, and we hope to expand and grow it. With this, we encourage creativity and self-expression. During the summer (2023), we also held creative arts workshops.
Volunteer Opportunities: We invite high school students from your school to become volunteers with us. They can share their passion for music and the arts with younger students and earn service hours, a great addition to their college applications.
Coming Up: We hope to open new opportunities and events as we grow our community. For example, we have held recitals over Zoom. In the future, we plan to continue with this and possibly in-person events.
If students are interested in volunteering with us, they must check our website and fill out our application form; we will schedule an interview shortly after and go from there.
