We ended up having 15 booths (6ft apart of course) selling all sorts of crafts like art, jewelry, masks, baked goods and had a book raffle like we had hoped. Fortunately the event was set up in a spot where a lot of pedestrians were walking by so that traffic allowed almost all the booths to sell out! We raised about $3,000 and split the money evenly to these 5 local orgs:
- City of Dreams
- Black Earth Farms
- Hip Hop for Change
- Black Organizing Project
- Kween Culture Initiative
- Ylva, LWHS Alumn
