ROAR Academy is a K-9 to K-12 summer program developed based on a Berkeley Autonomous Racing Competition that bears the same name (ROAR). The program has been used by undergraduates and graduate students alike to develop their research projects and publication experiments in AI and Robotics fields. This year, we would like to introduce a new curriculum suitable for rising K-9 to K-12 students to attend as our commitment to promote STEM education at Berkeley College of Engineering.
Due to the pandemic, the two-week Academy will be offered entirely online this year, and we have three classes to choose from between July and August. Furthermore, all attending students will be invited back to Berkeley to participate in ROAR competitions for as long as they are willing to improve their autonomous driving systems.
