For questions about the Intern Program: opps4all@sfgov.org
The San Francisco Planning Department, San Francisco YouthWorks, and Opportunities for All are looking for current high school students, particularly American Indian, Black, Latinx, and other Students of Color, with an interest in helping to plan for San Francisco’s future.
During the summer program, interns will:
explore how people get around the City and how to improve access to transportation;
visit a housing construction site and learn how housing contributes to a neighborhood;
go on exciting walking tours to parks and public spaces; and
be paired with department staff to work on a planning project.
This will be a rewarding and valuable experience for those interested in gaining knowledge and practical skills for the planning field.
