Stanford Women in Business (SWIB) Free Young Women’s Leadership Summit (YWLS)
My name is Annie Reller. I’m a freshmen at Stanford University and an intern for Stanford Women In Business (SWIB), a pre-professional undergraduate organization that aims to empower young women to become leaders in the business world.
SWIB’s annual free Young Women’s Leadership Summit (YWLS) will be held virtually on Saturday and Sunday, January 23-24, 2021 from 10am-2pm. This year, YWLS will be focused on providing underserved, minority women-aligning high school girls with a broader sense of the business world.
Students will have the opportunity to hear from inspiring female industry leaders, connect with Stanford students, and interact with other motivated high school students from across California. In the past, SWIB has hosted distinguished industry professionals such as Elizabeth Douglas (CEO of WikiHow), Debbie Sterling (founder of GoldieBlox). In addition, students will engage in workshops to build professional development skills, such as public speaking and self-branding.
We would love to have students from your school attend our event. The YWLS application is open and closes on Friday, December 12th, at 11:59 PM (PST). Here is the link to the application form: https://forms.gle/beDpJRB34v6L5ifo7.
