Botanical Garden designed for kids to explore and learn about the natural world. This spot is a great place for teens to learn how to care for plants, make and tend compost, and help design and build nature learning spaces.
Please plan to stay for the whole session, 10am-1pm. The group will meet in the Children's Garden, which is a 10 minute walk from the Main Gate. We have snacks, and you're welcome to bring lunch.
Bring a water bottle and dress to be outdoors! You must have long pants, closed toed shoes, and weather appropriate gear (windbreaker, hat, etc.).
Preregistration is required; participation limited to 20 volunteers. Volunteers under 18 must bring a minor consent and emergency contact form.
Volunteering is subject to the weather and will be cancelled for rain or poor air quality.
We will notify you by email if the event is cancelled.
