Summer Researchers in Global Health is a six-week summer internship for rising high school seniors that introduces students to global health concepts and immerses them in challenging, real-life projects with researchers at UCSF. Interns receive direct mentorship from global health experts and participate in weekly case discussions and group activities led by graduate student instructors. Topics include HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, maternal health, preterm birth, climate change, COVID and emerging infectious diseases, and more. Interns with financial need may qualify for a stipend of $2,000.
