Addressing Food Insecurity in our community
Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022, 6:30-8:00pm
JFCS Office, 2150 Post St, San Francisco
Join Impact Year leaders as we sort through barrels of food collected during the High Holiday Food drive. Members of local synagogues, JCCs and Jewish Day Schools donated many pounds of food to help feed our food insecure community during the holiday season. We will spend the evening sorting through the barrels, working towards lessening this growing crisis.

Hanukkah Treats for Hounds
Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, 4:00-5:30pm
YouthFirst Office, 2245 Post St, San Francisco
Many dog owners don’t have the luxury of giving their dogs special treats during the holidays (or any time, in many instances). Impact Year Leaders are excited to invite you to have some Hanukkah fun and bake dog treats which will later be donated to dog owners in need. Come make an impact and embody the mitzvah of Ha'achalat Re'evim (Feeding the Hungry).
