Tax-Aid will be primarily helping clients virtually. The way they envision this happening with their volunteers is via what they are calling "zoom parties" where volunteers will be put into breakout rooms to prepare and review tax returns. They will be looking for volunteers to serve as Zoom Hosts who will help assign volunteers to rooms. This doesn't require any tax knowledge but more technical skills. This is a great opportunity for high schoolers like the LWHS students who are tech savvy and want to gain some community service hours. All student volunteers will be provided training.
