Our sister organization that works with civic engagement and youth, When YOUth Vote is holding a summit on April 24th with keynote from Mindy Romero, the founder and director of USC’s Center for Inclusive Democracy on the impact of the youth vote in the 2020 elections and also practical workshops on how you can get involved at your school and city, state, and national campaigns to impact the candidates and causes beyond the November elections and into the midterms.

Youth leaders and adult allies will explain how to get involved with the San Francisco Youth Council, SFUSD Student Advisory Council, campaigns at the district, city, state, and presidential levels. They will also explain how they plan to make a difference in COVID health inequities, racial justice issues, and climate change. Data specialist, Marlinda McPhail, will be running a special workshop on organizing data and setting up websites!
